Soothies eye pillows are a great way to relax and rest your eyes after a busy, stressful day.  These bags are filled with 12 ounces of golden flax seed and real dried peppermint leaves. Peppermint is a natural way to help relieve headaches and migraine headaches. These eye pillows can be heated in the microwave or frozen.  This is a peppermint-scented flax seed bag that comes WITH a removable, washable cover.
FOR HEAT:
Place your Soothie eye pillow inside the cover then heat in the microwave for 1 minute. ALWAYS put your eye pillow in the cover before microwaving otherwise it will be too hot to handle.
FOR COLD:
Place your Soothie eye pillow inside the cover, then place on a rack in your freezer. It will become icy cold in just a few hours but because it is filled with flax seed, the bag will stay soft. Always let a frozen Soothie heat up to room temperature before heating it.
CARE INSTRUCTION:
Do not submerge your Soothie eye pillow in water. It is made of flax seed and this will ruin it. ALWAYS take the eye pillow out of the cover before washing the cover; never wash the eye pillow itself.
CAUTION:
Do not heat your Soothie eye pillow longer than 1 minute. When putting a too-hot Soothie on bare skin, especially on children or the elderly, burning or blistering can occur.
 
** Because your Soothie will last you many years, it is a good idea to put a mug of about 4 ounces of water in the microwave when you heat your Soothie. This will prevent the flax seeds from drying out over the years and prevent your Soothie from burning. Because the microwave will heat the water as well as the Soothie, you may need to increase the heating time by 15-20 seconds, depending on the wattage of your microwave.
