Flannel or Cotton Covers
Soothie covers are designed to fit most of the Soothie products. You can choose a cover to match your Soothie, or choose a contrasting color. Choose a flannel cover if you want to heat your Soothie, or a cotton cover if you want to freeze it.

You can put a cotton cover on a cotton Soothie and it will give you an icy cold pack when frozen.

You can put a flannel cover on a cotton Soothie to give you the benefit of longer lasting heat that flannel fabric provides. However, the flannel cover will not freeze well. It is best to remove the flannel cover if you want to freeze your Soothie.

You can put a flannel cover on a flannel Soothie if you want to microwave it for heat. The double layer of flannel is okay. It just may take a little longer to heat.
But you CANNOT put a cotton cover on a flannel Soothie. The cotton cover will impede the heat from the flannel Soothie if you want to heat it. The flannel cover will also prevent the Soothie from freezing.
